Watercraft Inspection Station

The Big Horn Conservation District has partnered with the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, Montana Department of Natural Resources, and other Montana Conservation Districts to better protect our waters from aquatic invasive species (AIS) with the opening and operating of a watercraft inspection station (WIS).  The watercraft inspection stations are located on Highway  313 between Saint Xavier and Fort Smith at the Big Horn River Ranch (formerly the Garrison Stoker Resort) and the Rest Area between Hardin and Billings.  Hours will vary from dusk to dawn.

Always remember to Clean, Drain & Dry your boat and gear every time to help protect our waters.
